Hi! Hope you all had a great weekend! I'm assuming that you're busy also, so you didn't notice that I haven't done a post since Friday morning :-). Just some miscellaneous decorating ideas for you today.
The window treatment at the beginning of this post is such a cute idea for a little girl's room. It's made out of fabric strips, and not only is it really fun, it also allows the light to filter through.
The photo below is actually a Christmas inspiration photo, but I loved the idea of making one long lumbar pillow for your sofa instead of using several smaller ones. It gives a more streamlined appearance and it's unique which, of course, I like! :-)
How about using a louvered folding screen as a magazine holder? (notice how they've also hung a lamp from it for easy reading).
Folding screens are also good for 1) softening the corner of the room, 2) partial room divider, 3) wall art - either alone (depending on the screen) or as a background to hang artwork on - you can also leave it assembled or dissassemble it and hang the three pieces separately.

Notice how just adding these three simple, numbered plates adds such a great graphic punch to this kitchen? So simple, yet very effective.
I know we've seen this idea before, but I love it! Texture, color, function, uniqueness ...
Have a great night!
