Paint is such a great way to make an inexpensive impact. The options are endless but this post gives you some ideas to help get your creative juices flowing.

I REALLY want to do a stenciled window treatment, and I think I may just get around to it one of these days (remember this one ?), but in the meantime... I love how High-Heeled Foot in the Door painted stripes on these ready made panels.

This is a great technique to use in rooms with very high ceilings. Notice how they started with the strongest color on the bottom, then lighter, then molding and then the very lightest color (barely visible) on the top.
