On to wall art...
There are a variety of ways to display your artwork, but repetition is one of the easiest ways to make a large statement on a small budget.
Framing a group of items with the same subject matter in identically matched frames and hanging them together gives them a feeling of importance that they wouldn't have on their own.
There is really no end to the possibilities of what you can frame, and you can create a look from casual to formal just by the art you use and the frame style and finish. A small sampling of possibilities would be: calendar pages, scrapbook paper, family photos , silhouette art, botanicals, book pages, fabric, wallpaper, letters, numbers, sketches... the list goes on.
Janell at Isabella & Max Rooms frames her children's artwork but doesn't limit it to her children's bedrooms. She loves the way it adds a lighthearted quality to the rest of her home. I agree!
Hanging art using the method below makes it appear as one large piece of art.
Pottery BarnWe saw in this Creative Decorating Ideas Post how they used repeating art to fill the corner.
